Mold is everywhere, in and out of structures.  It enters inside through entryways, outlets, chimneys, air conditioning components, windows, you name it!  Outside air can attach itself to your belongings as well, when entering your home or workspace:  purses, backpacks, bottoms of shoes, pets, and clothes.

Once inside, mold looks for moist spaces, such as leaks in windows, roofs, or pipes.  It spreads quickly onto cardboard, ceiling tiles, wood products, and even common paper products.  What’s so tricky is that they can also hide in spaces that are not as visible to us:  dust, paint, wallpaper, drywall, carpet, upholstery, and insulation.
